How has everybody’s Monday been? I must have pushed the snooze button at least 3 times this morning. UGH! But once I got to school and got going, my day went by pretty fast.
My sister and are taking the HPV series of shots and we had our 2nd shot today….my arm is SORE!!! It is a series of three shots and supposedly they each hurt a little more than the last. Great, huh? Well they were definitely right. Good thing I only have one left!
Ok, I will get on to the good stuff…here are my eats from today:
This oat mixture included: 1/2 cup oatbran, 1/2 cup silk, 1/2 cup water, lots of cinnamon, pinch of salt, blueberries, 1/2 banana, and 1 tbsp naturally peanut butter…Along with my cup of green tea. Seriously, could breakfast get any better than this?!?
1/2 100% whole wheat bagel with 1/4 cup egg beaters, 1 Morningstar veggie patty, and 1 slice of American cheese on top. With veggies on the side, of course.
Plus another chocolate chip ricotta cookie. I already started eating it before I remembered to take a picture of it!
1 orange and 1 colby-jack cheese stick…again I already started eating the cheese stick before I remembered to grab my camera. I’m still trying to get used to taking food pics! :)
For Dinner, I decided to try something that I had in my freezer and have been wanting to try. Amy’s Pattar Maneer dinner!! I also had some leftover baked tofu so I added it to the meal to bulk it up a bit. This was so delish! I really haven’t dabbled into Indian food all that much but have always wanted to after seeing it on Fitnessista’s blog so many times! I hope I will be able to experiment more with Indian food in the future!
And now I’m going to go hang with the family while keeping a close eye on the weather. We are currently in a tornado watch right now and I am crossing my fingers that it won’t turn into a tornado warning.
